Furniture for Africa

we collect used furniture for use in African schools.

Kirkhouse works with OPEF (Optimus Education Foundation - registered charity 1122212) and Barbara Kwateng Lupus Trust (registered charity 1122212) to provide used secondary and primary classroom furniture to schools in Africa.

You do not need to be a Kirkhouse customer to use this service.

We will consider collections of any size, however we aim to collect a minimum of fifty chairs or ten tables.

"We were delighted that someone could make use of the chairs we had, and that they be collected so promptly"

Dave Morley

Please email details of your second-hand furniture to info@kirkhouse.co.uk

We will need:

1. Details of the items for collection

2. The collection address

3. Your telephone number

Please note, we cannot collect all items. Most suitable for collection are polypropylene chairs and school style steel frame tables.
