Payment with order by Credit Card, Debit Card, Bank Transfer or Cheque.
We accept School Purchase orders for most orders, however bespoke products will require a deposit or payment in full prior to dispatch.
Where payments incur bank charges (e.g. international Bank Transfers / CHAPS), those charges are the responsibility of the customer.
Delivery & Receipt of Goods
Most product pages indicate a shipping schedule, which is the average for that item throughout the year. Delivery schedules may be extended during September due to large education orders.
Should you require quick delivery, please contact Kirkhouse to check current schedules.
Kirkhouse deliveries may be divided into two categories:
Delivery method 1: Custom Transport. Used for specialised goods which need greater care in transit, including rigid tables and wooden furniture.
Delivery method 2: Carrier (Third Party). Used for Quick Ship and small orders (typically fewer than 10 items).
Multi-product orders are often delivered in separate consignments to reduce additional carriage charges.
Standard delivery is Kerbside only. Additional charges usually apply for handling / installation.
Goods should be inspected and signed for on delivery. Any damage should be noted on the drivers delivery notes and immediately reported to Kirkhouse.
Once in manufacture, ordered Goods may not be cancelled.
Goods ordered incorrectly will incur a cancelation charge.
Return of Goods
Consumers (i.e. individuals buying for themselves rather than for a business) may return unused Internet purchases by emailing us within 7 days of receipt, the goods must be unused, un-assembled, in their original packaging and in a resalable condition.
We reserve the right to charge a minimum handling fee of 25% of the value of the goods for items returned when orders were placed in error or not wanted. This will be deducted from any refund given. Your rights under the Distance Selling Regulations and Sales Of Goods Act are unaffected by this.
Kirkhouse guarantees assume normal usage and do not cover wearable parts such as feet.
Product guarantees may be found on product pages, within the 'Technical' tab. Guarantees are also available on request and range from two to twenty years.
Guarantees do not apply to orders outside of the UK.
